Homestuck³ Officially Announced

In a shocking twist no one saw coming (mostly because the website took ten minutes to load), Homestuck³ has been officially announced. The project promises to “redefine the definition of redefining,” and will allegedly continue the saga of complicated timelines, self-aware fandom commentary, and excessive use of chat logs.
Developers behind the project describe Homestuck³ as “not a sequel, but not not a sequel either.” It reportedly begins exactly 4 years after the events of Homestuck², in a world where computers are sentient, the Internet is physically alive, and every page refresh triggers a boss battle.
When asked about the format, the creative team confirmed that Homestuck³ will be presented through “a mix of HTML5, psychic energy, and regret.” Users will interact with it by opening multiple tabs in precise cosmic alignment — failure to do so may cause paradox clones to appear in their browser history.
“We’re really pushing the boundaries of what’s considered a ‘website’ and possibly ‘art,’” said lead developer Ryan North. “This time, every line of code is canon.”
Sources claim that early builds of Homestuck³ feature over 800 playable characters, 12 timelines, and one singular uninterrupted gif that runs for 16 hours. The soundtrack, naturally, will be released across three parallel universes and one discontinued music platform.
Fans are already theorizing about returning characters, the meaning of the superscript three, and whether this one will finally end with something resembling closure. Others have begun preemptively creating alternate versions of the comic that end differently, just to save time.
According to the official teaser page, Homestuck³ will launch “as soon as the author finishes one more ironic hiatus.” Optimists estimate that could be sometime before the heat death of the universe.
